As a creative with a Type A personality, I help people communicate through modern, intelligent design. I like to color within the lines and think outside the box.
In a broad sense, this blog covers topics like design, advertising, and sustainability, and how these three can co-exist. I also have a soft spot for packaging design and the idea of self-care being marketed as a commodity.
I've been interested in creative work since I can remember, whether that be photography, painting, drawing, graphic design, or pretty much any type of creative expression. I've been working as a designer in Oklahoma City for two years now, and have been working as a freelance artist since my freshman year of college. I'm always looking for new techniques and skills to learn!
In my downtime, I can usually be found doing one of three things: watching a new show on Netflix with my boyfriend, visiting cats at the local animal shelter, or working in a coffee shop. My family has visited Starbucks religiously since I was in grade school, so grabbing an iced vanilla latte makes me feel a little less homesick, since most of my family is still in my home state of Wisconsin.
